Drivers. The Instructor’s Guide for Training School Bus Drivers provides regulations governing the training program for bus drivers. The purpose of this document is to ensure that the training program is consistent, thorough, and based on best practices. As evaluation data suggests the need for changes in the guide, staff is directed to make those changes and recommend them to the Mississippi Board of Education. Upon approval by the Mississippi Board of Education, those changes should be disseminated to the appropriate individuals in the educational community.
