Connection (Public Water)

Connection (Public Water). For the purposes of Miss. Code Ann. § 41-67-5(2), a “connection” as described therein shall be understood to take place upon either: (1) the setting of a water meter on the property of a newly constructed dwelling, regardless of whether the dwelling is occupied at the time the water meter is set; or (2) any change in the water-utility-responsible party on a property with an existing dwelling when the ownership of that property has changed.
