Supervision

Supervision. Before any radiologist shall supervise a radiologist assistant, the radiologist must present to the Board’s Executive Director a duly executed protocol and obtain written approval to act as a supervising radiologist. The facts and matters to be considered by the Board when approving or disapproving a protocol or supervision arrangement shall include, but are not limited to, how the supervising radiologist and radiologist assistant plan to implement the protocol, the method and manner of supervision, consultation, referral and liability.
