Legal Authority.
A.
These regulations are promulgated pursuant to the provisions of the Underground Storage
Tank Act of 1988, Miss. Code Ann., Section 49-17-405, which created the Mississippi
Groundwater Protection Trust Fund (the Trust Fund).
B.
Under the Act, the Executive Director of the Department of Environmental Quality (the
Department) has the responsibility of administering the Trust Fund.
