Purpose and Organization. The Bureau of Building, Grounds and Real Property
Management is a division of the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration [DFA].
The Bureau of Building [BOB] serves as the state building authority for all construction projects
under its purview and has the power to acquire, hold and dispose of real and personal property
for the State of Mississippi.
