Testing

Testing. In contracts where independent quality control and/or quality assurance testing of the work is required, provisions should be included to clarify the roles of Contractor, Professional and Owner for each test required. Contractor may be required to furnish services of independent testing providers when recommended by the Professional; however, special inspections and structural testing required by the International Building Code to be retained by the Owner may not be contractually delegated to the Contractor.
