Suspension of Trauma Center Designation: The State Health Officer may

Suspension of Trauma Center Designation: The State Health Officer may
suspend the trauma center designation of any hospital for:
1.
Documented conditions of serious threat or jeopardy to patients’ health or
welfare;
2.
Failure to comply with laws or regulations;
3.
Failure to satisfactorily meet the minimum requirements as a trauma center as
defined by regulations for the designation level.
4.
Failure to complete a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) within the timeframe
specified by the Department.
