Clinical Support Services: Burn Care 1. There must be a written protocol to transfer the patient to a Burn Center, if appropriate burn care is not available at the tertiary pediatric Trauma Center. Policies and procedures shall be in place to assure the appropriate care is rendered during the initial resuscitation and transfer of the patient.
