Neonatal Program Manager (NPM): Level I Neonatal Centers must have a registered nurse with documented perinatal nursing experience, working in the role of the NPM. Working in conjunction with the NMD, the NPM is responsible for organization of the program and all systems necessary for the multidisciplinary approach throughout the continuum of maternal care, as well as developing or revising policies, procedures and guidelines, assuring staff competency, education, and training. The MPM may also serve as the NPM.
