Maximum Capital Expenditure Specification

Maximum Capital Expenditure Specification. Pursuant to Miss. Code Ann. § 41-7-193(2), each Certificate of Need issued by the Department shall specify the maximum amount of capital expenditure that may be obligated under the CON. The maximum capital expenditure stated in the CON constitutes the authorized ceiling for expenditures under that Certificate. Any proposed expenditure in excess of the authorized ceiling shall require cost overrun approval in accordance with Chapter 6 of this Manual. The Department shall state the maximum authorized capital expenditure on the face of each CON issued.
