Purpose

Purpose. LSTA provides funding to stimulate excellence and promote access to learning and information resources in all types of libraries for individuals of all ages. The Library Commission administers and uses LSTA funds to enhance the quality of library services in Mississippi, in accordance with the purposes set forth in the federal legislation.
