Application Date. A. The application date is the date the application is received by MDHS during normal business hours. B. For online applications, the date of application is the date the application is submitted during normal business hours. C. If the application is received outside of business hours, during recognized holidays and/or weekends, the application date will be considered the next business day. D. For telephonic applications, the date of application is the date on which the household member provides verbal assent.
