Joint Applications for Agency Programs. A. Households may use the same application to apply for SNAP and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or submit separate applications for each program. B. Another application for SNAP is not necessary if the household is denied benefits for TANF. C. If a joint application is filed, all SNAP applications will be filed considering SNAP procedural, timeliness, notice and fair hearing requirements. D. A single interview must be completed for households jointly applying.
