General. A. Recertification is a process of determining whether a household has continued eligibility prior to the end of the household’s current certification period. B. The steps in the recertification process are similar to the application process (see Rule 2.1 Application Process). C. The recertification process only applies to households that apply prior to the end of their current certification period, and applications received within 30 days after the end of the certification period.
