Assessment or Forensic Interview โ€“ If law enforcement agrees, the CAC will complete the human trafficking assessment or forensic interview. The findings from this assessment or interview must be shared with law enforcement, the circuit and youth courts, the federal court, and the appropriate prosecutorโ€™s offices within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt. If the CAC confirms the child has been trafficked or otherwise subjected to ANE, the Agency must determine if the child can safely remain in the home environment without putting him/herself or other residents at risk.
