Review of Initial Application – Upon receipt of an initial application from a prospective Partner Provider: 1. MDCPS will notify the applicant in writing within ten (10) calendar days to acknowledge receipt of the application. MDCPS will review the application and notify the applicant, in writing, of the results of the initial review within thirty (30) calendar days. If additional information or documents are needed for the application process, MDCPS will notify the applicant of the results of the initial review. 2. If MDCPS requests additional information or documents to proceed with the application process, the applicant has thirty (30) calendar days to respond in writing to such request. Ultimately, the applicant will have no more than two (2) opportunities to respond to requests for additional information. If there is no response by the applicant within thirty (30) calendar days of a request being made, MDCPS will proceed with closure of the application. 3. Within thirty (30) calendar days of confirmation of a complete packet, the on-site review will begin and will include such things as record reading, observation, and interviews with staff, residents, or others.
