Orientation and Expectations Child and Parents โ€“ The Partner Provider must provide, prior to or at admission, an orientation to living in the facility for each child and MDCPS or parent(s). As part of the orientation, the Partner Provider must: 1. Provide each child and MDCPS or parent(s) with a written list of rules governing the care of children including visitation plan, discipline policies, religious practices, residentโ€™s right and responsibilities, and all other services available, including independent living services. 2. Provide a written description of procedures which the child and MDCPS or parent(s) may use to file a grievance and inform the child/parent of the process. 3. Inform the child/parent that should they desire to report a grievance, the Partner Provider must always give access to MDCPS specialist(s) for registering a complaint.
