Treatment Services Description
1. The following services shall be provided within twenty-four hours of
admission to determine the need for services and to rule out the presence of
mental symptoms that are judged to be the direct physiological consequences
of a general medical condition and/or illicit substance/medication use:
a. Initial Assessment
b. Medical Screening
c. Drug Toxicology Screening
d. Psychiatric Consultation
2. Direct Services shall be provided at a minimum of five (5) days per week; 5
hours per day (2 hours per day if youth is attending school) including:
a. Supportive Counseling
b. Initial Therapy Session (must be provided within seventy-two (72)
hours of admission.
c. Therapy (Individual, Group and Family)
d. Therapeutic Activities (recreational, psychoeducational, social /
interpersonal, spiritual)
3. Other services available shall also include:
a. Ongoing Child and Family Team Meetings
b. Evaluation and Observation
c. Substance Abuse Counseling
d. Targeted Case Management and/or Community Support Services
e. Family Psychoeducation
f. Nursing and Psychiatric Services (provided every seven (7) day at a
minimum)
