Other Agencies – Relative/Fictive Kin applicants are not allowed to work

Other Agencies – Relative/Fictive Kin applicants are not allowed to work concurrently with another MDCPS contracted agency while working with MDCPS. If the families are already licensed with another agency, the other agency must terminate services before MDCPS begins the licensure process. If the family plans to work with a private adoption agency, they will need to notify MDCPS as MDCPS is licensing families to foster children in MDCPS care.
