Purpose

Purpose It is the purpose of this Regulation to require full compliance with certain provisions contained in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, as Amended (hereinafter "HIPAA"), by health insurance issuers which offer group or individual health insurance coverage in the State of Mississippi.
