Miss. Code Ann. § 49-5-2

For purposes of this chapter, the following words shall have the meanings ascribed herein unless the context otherwise requires: (a) “ Commission ” means the Mississippi Commission on Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks. (b) “ Department ” means the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks. (c) “ Executive director ” means the Executive Director of the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.
