Miss. Code Ann. § 65-3-71.181

(1) That segment of highway that is designated as U.S. Highway 78 and will be redesignated as Interstate 22 beginning at the Marshall/DeSoto county line and extending to the Benton/Union county line shall be known and designated as the William R. “Bill” Minor Memorial Highway. (2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.
