HELD: That the status acquired by
county voting dry undel· local option
law does not continue after repeal of
law.

You ha\-e submitted the question of
the status of a county which \-oted dry
under the local option law as contained
in Sections 2041-204U Hevised Codes of
;\fontana of 190i.
The local option law was expressly
repealed by Section 4, Chapter 10'J,
Laws of 1921. Since the la\v has been
repealed there can be no status under
it. Such county, in my opinion, has the
same status that it would have had if
said local option law had never been
in existence.
