LINDEEN - Commissioner of Securities and Insurance Office of the Montana State Auditor [CSI] Date: November 12, 2010 Amendment to Advisory Memorandum Dated October 18, 2010 Collection of Rate Data for All Products Providing Health Insurance Coverage An advisory memorandum from the Commissioner of Securities and Insurance was sent on October 18, 2010, regarding rate data to be submitted to the Office of the Commissioner of Securities and Insurance (CSI). The memo asked that the requested rate data be submitted to the CSI by November 30, 2010. The CSI, at the request of many insurers, is adjusting that date. The date for submitting the historical rate data for the years 2008, 2009, and 2010 has been moved back to February 1, 2011. We prefer that this data be submitted sooner, if possible. Rate data for 2011 and the small group rating manuals are due no later than December 17, 2010. The Rate Data Disclosure Form will be attached to the Montana state page in SERFF. Additional instructions for filling out that attachment on SERFF will be sent to you via email later this month.
