Rosendale Re: Bulletin from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' - Insurance Standards Bulletin Series -- INFORMATION - Extension of Limited Non-Enforcement Policy through 2020 NON-GRANDFATHERED/TRANSITIONAL POLICY On March 25, 2019, CMS issued a bulletin which "extends the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' (CMS) transitional policy to policy years beginning on or before October 1, 2020, provided that all such coverage comes into compliance with the specified requirements by January 1, 2021." (Bulletin) The Montana Commissioner of Securities and Insurance hereby adopts the CMS transitional policy for individual and small group policies for 2020. Health insurance issuers must be in compliance with the requirements and terms of the Bulletin.
