23.7.103 NOTICE OF VIOLATION (1) Upon determination by an officer of the fire prevention and investigation program (FPIP) that any person or entity is in violation of any provision of the fire code or any rule adopted pursuant thereto, the FPIP shall serve upon the person or a designated representative of the entity a notice of violation, as provided in 50-61-115 , MCA. Additionally, if the violation constitutes a fire hazard, the FPIP may proceed in accordance with 50-62-102 and 50-62-103 , MCA.
