ARM 23.13.204. PURPOSE OF CERTIFICATES

(1) Certificates are awarded by the council for the purpose of raising the level of professionalism and skill of public safety officers and to foster cooperation among the council, agencies, groups, organizations, jurisdictions, and individuals. (2) Basic, intermediate, advanced, supervisory, command, administrative, and other certificates are established for the purpose of promoting ethical behavior, professionalism, education, and experience necessary to perform the duties of a public safety officer. (3) Certificates remain the property of the council. The council has the power to recall, sanction, suspend, or revoke any or all certificates upon good cause based on a preponderance of the evidence as determined by the council.
