ARM 23.13.806. PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER APPOINTMENT, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATION STANDARDS

(1) Except as provided in (2), the basic and basic equivalency training standards set forth in 7-32-303, MCA, are applicable to all public safety officers, where an appropriate basic course or basic equivalency course exists in the public safety officer's field. (2) The standards set forth in (1) do not apply to reserve officers. (3) A public safety officer's appointing authority must provide written notice to POST within 10 days of the appointment, termination, resignation, or death of the public safety officer.
