ARM 23.3.174. SOURCE DOCUMENTS

(1) When applying for a credential, the applicant shall provide source documents verifying proof of legal name, date of birth, social security number, authorized presence, and Montana residency. (2) All documents presented must be legible and unaltered from the original (for example, no lamination, hand-writing, or hole punch), or a copy certified by the issuing agency. (3) An applicant shall appear in person to apply for a REAL ID credential for the first time.
