ARM 10.54.3051. BENCHMARK FOR READING CONTENT STANDARD 5 FOR END OF GRADE 4

(1) The benchmark for reading content standard 5 for a student at the end of grade 4 is the ability to: (a) identify and summarize similarities and differences using a single element such as character within a text and between sources of information; (b) make connections, integrate, and organize information from multiple sources; (c) recognize authors' points of view; and (d) distinguish fact from opinion in various print and nonprint material.
