ARM 10.54.3423. BENCHMARK FOR WRITING CONTENT STANDARD 2 UPON GRADUATION

(1) The benchmark for writing content standard 2 for a student upon graduation is the ability to: (a) plan writing by generating ideas through a variety of strategies, and organize by analyzing purpose and audience; (b) write one or more drafts that capture, explore, and organize ideas; (c) revise writing by seeking feedback from others and making appropriate changes to improve text; (d) edit by correcting errors (e.g., grammar, capitalization, punctuation, spelling, usage) ; and (e) share/publish a legible final product.
