(1) A license may be denied for: (a) failure to meet requirements or standards established by law or by rules adopted by the board; (b) failure to pass the licensing examination; (c) fraud or misrepresentation in association with the examination application, licensure application, or licensure examination; (d) conduct which would be grounds for discipline under 37-1-316 , MCA; or (e) conviction of a felony except as provided in 37-1-203 , MCA.
