ARM 10.54.3842. BENCHMARK FOR MEDIA LITERACY CONTENT STANDARD 4 FOR END OF GRADE 8

(1) The benchmark for media literacy content standard 4 for a student at the end of grade 8 is the ability to: (a) analyze the individual and social consequences of unethical use of media; (b) analyze point of view and embedded values in media messages; and (c) illustrate how media influence the way meanings and perception of reality are created and shared.
