ARM 10.54.4051. BENCHMARK FOR MATHEMATICS CONTENT STANDARD 5 FOR END OF GRADE 4

(1) The benchmark for mathematics content standard 5 for a student at the end of grade 4 is the ability to: (a) estimate, measure, and investigate length, capacity, weight, mass, area, volume, time, and temperature; (b) develop the process of measuring and concepts related to units of measurement, including standard units (English and metric) and nonstandard units; (c) apply measurement skills to everyday situations; and (d) select and use appropriate tools and techniques.
