(1) An applicant requesting a temporary permit must submit an application for a temporary permit to the board and must have on file with the board a completed application, the proper fee and any information as the board may require pursuant to ARM 24.225.503 or 24.225.507. (2) An applicant for licensure by examination may be issued a temporary permit if he/she is employed by, working under the supervision of, and in the same office with, a veterinarian licensed in Montana. A temporary permit holder shall not work at a satellite office at a remote location distant from the supervisor's main office. (3) An applicant for licensure by endorsement may be issued a temporary permit if he/she is working under the supervision of a veterinarian licensed in Montana. (4) The responsibility for the standard of care provided by a temporary licensee employee remains with the supervising veterinarian.
