ARM 10.54.6656. GRADE 8 PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTORS FOR CONTENT STANDARD 5 AT THE NOVICE LEVEL

(1) An eighth grade student at the novice level in information literacy/library media is beginning to attain prerequisite knowledge and skills that are fundamental in information literacy/library media performance. He/she, with assistance: (a) chooses resources based on personal interests; (b) uses and responds to a few print and digital resources; (c) uses and responds to genres; and (d) compares and contrasts multiple resources and creative expressions from diverse cultures, including those of Montana American Indians.
