(1) Written notice of a benefits hearing must be sent to all interested parties at least ten days before the hearing. The hearing must be held within 30 days of the filing of the appeal. The appeals referee shall deny a request to postpone unless delay is justified by extraordinary circumstances beyond the requesting party's control. (2) A hearing notice must state the date, time, and place of the hearing, legal authority for the hearing, and the issues involved in the matter. (3) The advance notice requirements do not apply to rescheduled hearings or rescheduled prehearing conferences, if the parties have been given reasonable notification of the new date and time.
