ARM 10.54.7542. BENCHMARK FOR TECHNOLOGY CONTENT STANDARD 4 FOR END OF GRADE 8

(1) The benchmark for technology content standard 4 for a student at the end of grade 8 is the ability to: (a) safely use various technologies (e.g., e-mail, chat software, tools) ; (b) develop a personal code of standards for ethical technology use (e.g., privacy, copyright, etiquette) ; and (c) compare the present and future impacts of technology on people and the environment.
