ARM 37.106.3227. ADMINISTRATOR

(1) Each facility must employ an administrator that is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the facility. (2) The administrator must have formal training and/or experience in residential programs and demonstrates the ability to perform the functions and duties required in these rules. (3) In the absence of the administrator, a staff member must be designated to oversee the operation of the facility during the administrator's absence. The administrator or designee must be in charge, on call, and physically available daily as needed, and must ensure there are sufficient, qualified staff so that the care, well-being, health, and safety needs of the residents are always met. (a) If the administrator will be absent from the facility for more than 30 continuous days, the department must be given written notice of the individual who has been appointed the designee. The appointed designee must meet the requirements for an administrator.
