ARM 37.14.501. PURPOSE

(1) This subchapter provides for the licensing of radioactive material. No person shall receive, possess, use, transfer, or acquire radioactive material except as authorized in a specific or general license issued pursuant to this subchapter or as otherwise provided in this subchapter. (2) In addition to the requirements of this subchapter, all licensees are subject to the requirements of ARM Title 37, chapter 14, subchapters 1, 7 and 17. Licensees engaged in industrial radiographic operations are subject to the requirements of ARM Title 37, chapter 14, subchapter 8, and licensees using sealed sources in the healing arts are subject to the requirements of ARM Title 37, chapter 14, subchapter 11.
