ARM 17.24.412. EXTENSION OF TIME TO COMMENCE MINING

(1) The department shall specifically set forth in the permit any extension of the three-year limitation granted pursuant to 82-4-221(1), MCA. (2) A request pursuant to 82-4-221(1), MCA, for extension of time to commence mining is subject to the public notice and participation requirements of ARM 17.24.401 through 17.24.403. (3) The notice must include the items required in ARM 17.24.401(3) and the following: (a) the permit number; (b) the grounds for the extension request.
