61-8-379 . Definitions. As used in 61-8-380 through 61-8-384 , the following definitions apply: (1) "Funeral escort vehicle" means a motor vehicle properly equipped pursuant to 61-8-381 . (2) "Funeral lead vehicle" means a motor vehicle, including a funeral hearse that is properly equipped pursuant to 61-8-381 , leading and facilitating the movement of a funeral procession. (3) "Funeral procession" means two or more motor vehicles, one of which is carrying the remains of a deceased person, in the daylight hours, including a funeral lead vehicle and a funeral escort vehicle.
