81-23-403 . Disposition of fines. (1) All fines assessed by a court, other than a justice's court, for violation of this chapter must be paid by the court to the department. (2) All fines received by the department must be deposited with the state treasurer and must be placed by the treasurer in the state special revenue fund. Fines assessed for violations of this chapter are earmarked for the purposes of this chapter.
