30-12A-202 . Definitions. (1) In this part, the following definitions apply: (a) "Adjustment date" means July 1, 2025, or the date that is 1 year after October 1, 2025, whichever is later. (b) "Chapter 12A" means chapter 12A of this code. (c) "Chapter 12A property" means a controllable account, controllable electronic record, or controllable payment intangible. (2) The following definitions in other articles of the Uniform Commercial Code apply to this part: (a) "Controllable account". 30-9A-102 . (b) "Controllable electronic record". 30-12A-102 . (c) "Controllable payment intangible". 30-9A-102 . (d) "Financing statement". 30-9A-102 . (3) Title 30, chapter 1, contains general definitions and principles of construction and interpretation applicable throughout this part.
