North Carolina Department of Insurance Mike Causey, Commissioner BULLETIN Number 20-B-02 TO: ALL PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURERS WRITING HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE COVERAGE IN NORTH CAROLINA FROM: PROPERTY AND CASUALTY DIVISION DATE: JANUARY 23, 2020 SUBJECT: HOMEOWNER DATA AND CONSENT TO RATE DATA COLLECTION REQUIRED BY NCGS 58-36-30(b2) The purpose of this bulletin is to notify your company of the annual reporting requirements for insurance covering loss to residential real property with not more than four housing units. For the purpose of this data call, all data from homeowner insurance policies need to be reported including the consent to rate data. Only companies that have data to report on homeowner policies, all forms excluding HO-4 and HO-6, must complete this Data Call. The information requested by NCDOI in its Data Call should be submitted no later than April 1, 2020.
