North Carolina Department of Insurance Mike Causey, Commissioner BULLETIN Number 20-B-03 TO: ALL PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURERS WRITING NONFLEET PRIVATE PASSENGER MOTOR VEHICLE PHYSICAL DAMAGE AND HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE COVERAGE IN NORTH CAROLINA FROM: PROPERTY AND CASUALTY DIVISION DATE: JANUARY 28, 2020 SUBJECT: CONSENT TO RATE DATA COLLECTION REQUIRED BY G.S. 58-36-30(e) 7/1/2019-12/31/2019 The purpose of this bulletin is to notify your company of the semi-annual reporting requirements for insurance covering loss to nonfleet private passenger motor vehicle physical damage and residential property (all forms excluding HO-4 and HO-6) with not more than four housing units. The information and data requested by NCDOI in this semi-annual Data Call only applies to insurers that issued Consent to Rate policies during the period 7/1/2019 - 12/31/2019. The reply submission should be submitted no later than April 15, 2020. Insurers that have not issued any consent to rate policies for the referenced types of insurance during the above mentioned period, are not subject to this data call.
