Number 24-B-04 TO: ALL PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURERS WRITING HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE COVERAGE IN NORTH CAROLINA FROM: PROPERTY AND CASUALTY DIVISION DATE: FEBRUARY 9, 2024 SUBJECT: HOMEOWNERS DATA AND CONSENT TO RATE DATA COLLECTION REQUIRED BY G.S. 58-36-30(b2) The purpose of this bulletin is to notify your company of the annual reporting requirements for insurance covering loss to residential real property with not more than four housing units. For the purpose of this data call, all data from homeowners insurance policies shall be reported, including the consent to rate data. Only insurers that have data to report on homeowners policies must complete this Data Call. Data for homeowners policy forms HO-2, HO-3, HO-5, HO-7, and HO-8, is required. The information and data requested by NCDOI in this annual Data Call should be submitted no later than March 20, 2024.
