16 NCAC 06C .0397. Educator Preparation Program Coursework Requirements for All Programs

In addition to the minimum requirements set forth in G.S. 115C-269.20(a)(1), all Educator Preparation Programs shall include instruction in the following areas: (1) The identification of academically or intellectually gifted children; (2) Evidence based practices as defined by the Every Student Succeeds Act (P.L. No 114-95, 129, Stat. 1801, S. 1177-2 Part F- General Provisions, Title II, Sec. 2002); (3) The teaching of diverse populations of students; and (4) Classroom management.
