Income disregard for federal cost-of-living adjustments.

§ 108A-54.4. Income disregard for federal cost-of-living adjustments. An increase in a Medical Assistance Program recipient's income due solely to a cost-of-living adjustment to federal Social Security and Railroad Retirement payments shall be disregarded when determining income eligibility for the Medical Assistance Program. This section shall not be deemed to render a recipient eligible for the Medical Assistance Program if all other eligibility requirements are not met.
