On August 31, 2012, the North Dakota Insurance Department issued the following bulletin:

Insurance Producer Training – Policies Issued Under Qualified State Long-Term Care Insurance Partnership ("Qualified Partnership")
Please be advised that this bulletin rescinds Bulletin 2012-2 effective immediately. A producer who fails to timely complete the four-hour ongoing training will no longer be required to retake an initial training course of no less than eight hours. Instead, a producer who fails to timely complete the four-hour ongoing training must complete a four-hour training course to be considered compliant and, therefore, able to sell long-term care insurance.
